H2Coco Coconut Water Cocoespresso

Screen Shot 2015-10-19 at 2.27.35 pmThis is a brand new coconut water to hit the market and contains one of our other favourites, COFFEE! Now you may be wondering if these 2 awesome ingredients can combine and taste nice? We were pleasantly surprised how nice this coconut water from Thailand is to drink, just like a cold brew coffee but with all the added benefits of potassium and hydration.

The next step was to try it in a smoothie as we needed some energy before a casual kick about at indoor soccer. After feeling a little bit tired we added it to our usual smoothie blend that fills us up but with a difference. Around 15 minutes after consuming the smoothie we felt the “pump” you typically get after drinking coffee!

Everyone can enjoy this coconut water! The combination of coffee and coconut water was enjoyed by both our male and female blind taste testers who referred to flavour as well balanced and smooth. Overall extremely enjoyable for coffee lovers.

We recommend drinking this excellent product before a cardio session (take your pick on the type of cardio) to really feel the benefits of a coffee pump while keeping hydrated at the same time. It has slightly higher levels of carbs and sugar but you cannot even begin to compare it against a traditional coffee with added sugar.

Have you tried this coconut water and coffee combo yet? If so please let us know what you think of it by leaving your feedback in our comments section at the bottom of the page.

The best way to summarise this would be to say it’s the coconut water for coffee lovers! The espresso coffee shot and the coconut water are balanced well, but it’s very sweet tasting. They could probably reduce the amount of sugar by half and it would still be great tasting IMO – amount of sugar in a serve is quite high, but not as high as soft drinks etc

I tried the cocoespresso for the first time the other day. I really liked it. The coffee taste was not too strong like some pre-made drinks can be and was a little chocolatey too. As a vegan, I am always really happy to find another option for me as there is not too many out there when it comes to pre-made drinks other than cool drinks. It would be good if these drinks were available more readily , like in the supermarkets. If they are there already, I don’t know about it as I have never seen them. I would like to try more flavours if there are any out there that are vegan friendly.

I read your note Ms White (I love reading what consumers are saying about our brand) and can confirm Cocoespresso is available in all Coles stores, WW Petrol, Coles Express, Caltex, BP and many other great stores. Hope you can find it in one of these. Enjoy! nick

10/10 Top recommendation! They’re so good. I’m thinking of using them to make Espresso martini’s 😉
