Secret Recipes to make the BEST Coconut Water Cocktails

It’s hot, you’re bothered, and let’s face it who DOESN’T want to indulge in a refreshing cocktail in the peak heat of summer? Well my friends, you have come to the right place to source tantalising taste sensations perfect for a poolside party or a party of one.

Whilst we are in no means certified bar peeps, we have taken the liberty to source some of the funkiest coconut water cocktail recipes going around the interwebs. Feel free to use your own coconut water of choice – just make sure there is plenty going around in case we pop by.

Pink-A-Colada (serves 9)
3 cups Cranberry juice
2 cups  Coconut water
1 & 1/2 cups  Pineapple juice
2 cups  Malibu Caribbean Rum
Pineapple slices to garnish

Pop all of the above ingredients into your favourite holiday jug, mix and enjoy

Coconut Pineapple Rum Drink (serves 4)
3/4 cup White rum (such as Bacardi)
1/4 cup Malibu Caribbean Rum
2 cups Coconut water with pineapple juice
2 Limes (juice)
Soda (Splash of)

Pop all of the above ingredients into your favourite holiday jug, mix and enjoy

Ruby Relaxer (serves 3)
1/2 cup Coconut Rum
1/2 cup Vodka
1/2 cup  Peach schnapps
1 cup Coconut water (can also use any flavoured coconut water)
1 cup  Cranberry juice
Cocktail cherries
Ice

Pop all of the above ingredients into your favourite holiday jug, mix and enjoy

H2Tequila 
50ml Reposado Tequila
45ml H2Coco Pineapple Coconut Water
15ml Orgeat
15ml Lime Juice
10ml Agave

Shake and strain over ice in an old-fashioned glass. Garnish with a lime wedge. Tequila has some really unique flavours and this H2quila essentially doesn’t try to mask them.

H2Tiquila

Strawberry & Coconut Margaritas (serves 4)
48 ml Grand Marnier
45 ml  Tequila (silver / 100% agave)
55 ml  Lime juice
56 ml  Coconut water
56 ml  Coconut cream
52 ml Strawberry syrup 
1/2 cup Strawberries
Lime (to garnish)
Shredded coconut (to garnish)

Place all ingredients (minus garnish) in a blender on high for 20 seconds (or until smooth). To garnish , wet the rim of the glass with lime juice and dip in shredded coconut to form a textured rim. Enjoy!

Old Grogram
45ml Spiced Rum
15ml Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
15ml Cinnamon Sugar Syrup
25ml H2Coco Cocoespresso

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker, full with large cubed ice, and shake continually until cocktail shaker becomes well chilled to the touch. Then, double strain into a chilled rocks glass filled with cubed ice and enjoy!

Blue on Blue (serves 2)
90 ml Vodka (your choice)
60 ml Coconut Water
60 ml Cranberry juice
30 ml Blue Curacao
20 ml Sugar syrup
Blueberries

Fill a shaker with ice cubes. Add all ingredients. Shake and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice cubes. Garnish with a blueberries.

Coconut Mojito (serves 4)
1 cup Packed fresh mint leaves
1/2 cup Fresh lime juice
1/2 cup Simple Syrup (see recipe below)
2 cups Coconut water, chilled
1 cup White rum, chilled
Ice

Simple Syrup:
1 cup Granulated sugar

Put the mint, lime juice and Simple Syrup in a pitcher. Muddle for a few seconds to release the flavour from the mint.

Pour in the coconut water and rum. Add ice to fill a pitcher, and stir to combine and chill.

Simple Syrup:Stir together the sugar and 1 cup water in a medium pot. Bring to a simmer medium-high heat. Stir to make sure all the sugar is dissolved. Simmer for 1 minute, and then remove from the heat. Cool completely. Makes about 1 cup.

Vodka, Coconut Water & Lime (serves 1)
Ice
30 ml Vodka (we like Belvedere)
3/4 cup coconut water (can be any flavour you like)
30 ml Lime juice
Lime wedge (garnish)

Fill a highball glass with ice. Add vodka, coconut water and lime juice; stir to combine. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Cocoespresso Colada
30ml Vodka
30ml Coconut Rum
45ml Coconut Cream
60ml H2Coco Cocoespresso
15ml Sugar
Ice
Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Serve in a tall glass.
